Two Killed After Struck by Car While Waiting Near Their Crashed Cars on Anzac Bridge

In a tragic overnight incident, two people were killed after being struck by a car while standing near their crashed cars on the Anzac Bridge in Sydney. Emergency services responded to the scene of a minor crash in the lanes heading toward the city’s south, near the Pyrmont exit, at around 11.50pm on Friday night.

According to NSW Police, both drivers of a Camry and Captiva were standing on the roadway when they were hit by a Holden Commodore. A second Toyota Camry taxi also became involved in the incident. The westbound lanes of the busy bridge near the CBD were closed for six hours while police investigated the scene. They have since reopened.
